Travelling to Germany

By Train
International rail links from London St Pancras to Germany’s gateway cities of Aachen and Cologne make the train an attractive alternative to plane, coach or car in terms of time, price and convenience. Visitors leaving London can reach Aachen in just 4¾ hours and Cologne in about 5 hours. By departing from and arriving at city centres, travellers to Germany save time on unnecessary journeys between the airport and the city, and avoid long check-ins.
The extension of the high-speed rail network in the UK as well as in Belgium and Germany means that Germany is getting even closer!

By Night Train
One of the most comfortable and time-saving options is to arrive by City Night Line (the night train). Take the Eurostar from London St Pancras and connect with the nightly service at Brussels to Bremen/Hamburg or Hanover/ Wolfsburg /Berlin. The night service between Paris (Est) and Munich also makes the journey from the UK to southern Germany even easier. New sleeper carriages have been introduced on all services to give its passengers even more travel comfort and a good night's sleep.
