Additional trains for UEFA Euro 2008
Just under a week to go until the UEFO Euro 2008 begins! With the benefits of being environmentally friendly, fast, comfortable and reliable, Deutsche Bahn shall transport fans to where the football matches shall be taking place. For instance, the ICE trains run from Frankfurt (am Main) to Vienna every two hours and also from Stuttgart to Zurich. Basel is easily accessible with over twenty ICE connections running daily. Due to high demand, 37 additional trains are now running for the qualifying rounds of the German team, the quarter finals, semi finals, and finals.
A unique way to save time and enjoy the additional opportunity to travel through various cities in Europe during the UEFA Euro 2008 is with the City Night Line. The night trains will be running through Germany and Europe to the various venues of the national team. Regional transport provides special trains to Innsbruck, Salzburg and Basel. This convenient and alternative form of transport leaves enough time to soak in the atmosphere as you arrive in the centre of each city without any hassle.

Fan BahnCard 25 – Special discounts for UEFA Euro 2008
So far 180.000 Fan BahnCards 25 have been sold to enthusiastic customers. The Fan BahnCard 25 guarantees discounts on all standard and saver fares until 30th June 2008 including journeys to Austria and Switzerland. With every victory the German team gain, the discounts will automatically be extended by a month. If the German team wins all the games, then the Fan BahnCard 25 will be valid until 31st December 2008. This will include further discounts including 25% off standard fares in combination with saver fares of up to 62.5% with Deutsche Bahn.
The Fan BahnCard 25 only costs 19 Euros for a second-class ticket, and 39 Euros for first-class. The offer to purchase the Fan BahnCard is open until 9th June 2008.
