Rail Consultant at the Deutsche Bahn UK Booking Centre
Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) is currently looking for bilingual Rail Consultants for the DB UK Booking Centre in South West London (Surbiton).
Job description:
- Selling rail tickets for Germany and continental Europe, group tickets, rail passes, German motorail and night train tickets by phone, to clients in the UK and in Ireland
- Replying to clients’ written inquiries
- Entering data in the back-office system to produce invoices
Requirements:
- Good command of the German and English language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of rail tariffs for Germany and continental Europe
- Experience with the Galileo Railmaster and/or NVS systems and Elgar (Eurostar)
- Good knowledge of European geography
- Experience in dealing with clients and a pleasant telephone manner
- Ability to work independently
