You will receive suggestions of suitable and fast connections. Connections are timed so that you can reach your final destination as quickly as possible.

There are a few "tricks" worth knowing when entering your starting point and destination:

Number-plate abbreviations: where stations in major German cities are concerned, it is sufficient to enter the relevant number-plate letter(s), e.g. "B" for Berlin, "KI" for Kiel etc.
Name of a station via which the journey is to run
Notes on detailing length of stay

Help with Extended Searches:

Stopping point or station not known? Simply enter the address: select "Place, Street, House number" to establish the connection from or to a given address. Entering the postcode or place is sufficient. A comma should be used to separate place and street.
Entering "Points of interest":
Are you looking for a place of interest (e.g. the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin), a theatre or some other popular attraction (such as the Olympic Stadium in Munich)? Simply select "Place, point of interest (POI)".
"Points of interest" can be looked for under the following categories:
- culture, film, stage (museums, theatres, cinemas etc.)
- going out (restaurants, bars, cafés)
- accommodation (hotels, guesthouses, tourist information offices)
- places of interest, leisure facilities (amusement parks, parks and
gardens, places of historical interest)
- sport (sport centres, stadia, ice rinks, ski resorts)
- education, public institutions (schools, libraries, town halls, hospitals)
- ferry ports, marinas and airports
